Dear Nick,
We went on your Loch Ness & Legends tour last Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. My mum found it very comfortable and enjoyable, given the distance, her age and mild disability. Our tour guide Rose was excellent and very helpful, polite and friendly.
We look forward to joining her other tours next time.
With best wishes, Chetana Kallappa, Birmingham, UK. September 2008.

I’ve done many jobs in my days, even managed to be an engineer for a while. But none of them can match being a tour guide for a small, friendly company like Heart of Scotland Tours.
Every day is different, the dramatic scenery changes with the mists and clouds and sun (occasionally it rains!), although the fascinating history remains the same.
I like to think that I show my love of this beautiful country when I’m guiding, but hopefully in a realistic and honest way. I look forward to sharing it with you.

Bill
I really enjoy sharing Scotland's landscape, history and wildlife with visitors from all over the world. My background is varied, a jack of all trades...the ideal qualification for a guide.
I studied Ecology and Biological Science at university and have worked in environmental education and woodland management. I have sailed extensively around the west coast of Scotland.
In recent years I have developed a burning interest in Scottish history. I love a good story and story-telling is in our blood. It brings our past, the places we visit and our ancestors to life.

Colin
Some say Colin is very lucky. He spends his summers driving around Scotland showing visitors this beautiful land and the winters in the French Alps snowboarding.
Lucky or not, Colin’s year is taken up with his great passions – Scotland, its history and the mountains. From Highland stock, Colin was actually born in Thailand and grew up in Jamaica. On returning to Scotland as a youth he knew he had come home. He fills his spare time hill-walking, paragliding and scuba diving and when stationery has been known to enjoy a fine malt.

I live with my wife Susan and daughter Claire near Edinburgh. In the summertime, we love to visit the seaside and walk along the beach, usually eating ice-cream!
When I have time, I love to play golf on the beautiful courses Scotland is famous for, go to the theatre or just relax in the garden listening to my collection of Beatles records!
